The temperatures have FINALLY dropped here in Georgia, and I can finally start wearing one of my favorite accessories – SHAWLS! Triangle shawls have a special place in my heart because of the versatility, so why not make a crochet one right?
The Forever Fall Crochet Shawl is made with a series of half double and double crochet stitches, and I promise it will be the simplest crochet triangle shawl you’ll ever make.
The best part about this crochet triangle shawl is how uncomplicated it is. Although it is a large shawl measuring about 72 inches wide, it is sooo easy to make. Once I got a few rows of this shawl under my belt I had the pattern memorized, so I turned on my favorite show right now (Grace and Frankie), and finished the project in no time at all! This pattern is definitely Netflix and crochet material. The simplicity of this shawl makes it equally as easy to adjust. So feel free to make yours as large as you’d like!
The Yarn
If you’ve ever checked out my post about the Delilah Sweater, then you already know about my slight Hobby Lobby obsession. For this project I used “I Love This Yarn” by Hobby Lobby Stores (again). I just love that the brand comes in some many different shades, so it keeps me coming back. It’s a worsted weight acrylic yarn that comes in skeins of about 355 yards. For this shawl, I used approximately 2.5 skeins, and that includes the tassels. Check out Not Granny’s Cardi to see how I use another yarn from Hobby Lobby.
